On 21st April, H.E. Mr. Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam attended the World Chinese Writers Conference and World Micro Novel Seminar, hosted by the Brunei Chinese Literature and Art Federation,at Chung Hwa Middle School, BSB. Mr. Sng Teck Ann, President of Brunei Chinese Literature and Art Federation, Mr. Yong Teck Chin, board chairman of Chung Hwa Middle School, representatives of Chinese writers from different countries and regions, teachersand students of Chung Hwa Middle school were present.

Ambassador Xiao congratulated on the successful opening of the event, sang high praise of the local Chinese community for inheriting and carrying forward Chinese traditional culture, and expressed willingness to further cooperate with Brunei Chinese Literature and Art Federation as well as Chung Hwa Schools in Brunei in contributing to implementation ofthe Global Civilization Initiative and promotion of the cultural and people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
