Embassy of the People's Republic of China Flies National Flag at Half-Mast on 15th August to Mourn the Zhouqu Mudslide Victims

In conformity with the decision of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China will fly the national flag at half-mast on 15th August to mourn the compatriots victimised in the massive mudslide in Zhouqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Northwest China's Gansu Province. At the same time, all the public entertainment will be suspended.

As of 4:00 p.m. 13th August, the disaster killed 1,156 people while 588 were still missing.
